(I have a whole bunch of Megabucks numbers in my wallet that I haven't checked yet, and I'm going to have to rack my brains to remember what happened on these days besides buying the tickets!...you'll see this note in every one of the posts whose days I'm trying to mentally reconstruct.)
Before I bought this ticket, I went to Dunkin' Donuts. When I sat down to eat my jelly doughnut, I caught sight of the face of one of the employees from in between the coffee urns. Her makeup was carefully applied, and she appeared to be slightly Middle Eastern -- but the most notable thing about her was her expression. Serenely she gazed at the street scene beyond the large glass window. Apparently lost in a thought that was not too important, she did not see me noticing what a good photograph this would have made if I had brought a camera with me. The sharp afternoon sunlight spilled over the curve of her face onto the side that was in shadows.
The numbers I played were:
How do you like that?! The one I got right was only one off from two of the other winning numbers. And two other completely different numbers were only off by one, also.
