ghost of rhino that had been shot with a cannon

I got this fleeting picture of the ghost of a rhinoceros one night. I had to do some research as to why there appeared to be two giant holes in its body. As it turns out, a pirate ship had spotted the rhinoceros trotting along the seashore off Africa in 1712. Thinking the large creature was a rival ship, they shot it through with two cannonballs. To this day, the ghost rhino grazes on the grasses of various public parks throughout the world. I should tell "GhostHunters" that I got this rare picture of its apparition.

I took a picture of the lunar eclipse, but when I looked at it later on, it appeared more like a multi-layered, flesh-colored UFO. I'm pretty sure there were no UFOs in the sky that night, so I'm guessing this is an artifact of digital camera photography. One of many artifacts, perhaps, that we are not very familiar with yet ... but will be in about 200 years.

A UFO tried to zap a replica of a tall ship with a laser beam, but as can be seen from the picture they missed by quite a large margin (the rigging of the tall ship can be seen in the background). It was quite amazing that I just happened to take a picture at the very same moment this very quick burst of light shot down towards the ground.

first picture back from Europa

Some friends of mine and I sent a model rocket up to Europa last year (a moon of Jupiter). We scotch-taped a cheap drug store camera to it to take pictures when it got there, and this is the first picture back from the mission. This is what it looks like underneath the surface ice of Europa. Unfortunately, because there is liquid water beneath the ice, the camera AND the rocket became waterlogged and useless for any more work.

However, some fluke of physics made it so that my tilting motion caused the building to collapse. I really feel terrible about it, but how could I have known this was going to happen? My bad feelings were lessened by the fact that no one was inside of the building when it happened. I will have to win Megabucks now to pay for the building, though.

On my way to Florida, I was shocked to see the effects of the drought as our plane passed over Georgia. Notice how this giant lake has shrunken, leaving dry earth all around its edges. I studied the strange photograph while scratching my head. Whose antique television set was that? And why, in the nearly toppling tape of VHS tapes on top of an equally antique VCR, was there one labeled with the cryptic acronym, "Yu-gi-oh?" The calendar on the wall seemed to be turned to a picture of a Frank Lloyd Wright house that was built in Phoenix, Arizona in 1950. And, whoever this room belonged to, why did they have an electric keyboard that seemed to have fallen into disuse, evidenced by the fact that it had a cover over it that looked like it hadn't been disturbed in MONTHS?

With great foreboding, I nervously took this video of what I thought was a giant tsunami hundreds of miles high about to crash down on the Eastern seaboard. As I waited trembling in my running shoes, I noticed that the crest of it simply was not moving. With some careful, analytical thought I deduced that it was a giant storm front on its way westward, coming off the Atlantic Ocean. I breathed a great sigh of relief and resumed jogging.
