Some friends of mine and I sent a model rocket up to Europa last year (a moon of Jupiter). We scotch-taped a cheap drug store camera to it to take pictures when it got there, and this is the first picture back from the mission. This is what it looks like underneath the surface ice of Europa. Unfortunately, because there is liquid water beneath the ice, the camera AND the rocket became waterlogged and useless for any more work.
I got scratch tickets for Christmas presents. But it took me a long time to figure out that I didn't win anything with this scratch ticket, probably because I've never played Blackjack in my life. That is, that's why it took me a long time to figure it out, not why I didn't win anything.
Somebody went outside today and sprayed whipped cream over all the trees. I do appreciate the hard work this person did, but I'm a little puzzled by it. For what purpose is whipped cream put on trees?
tipping my camera caused the building to fall over
I pointed my camera at the old building and got ready to take a picture. On a whim, I tilted my camera at an angle. However, some fluke of physics made it so that my tilting motion caused the building to collapse. I really feel terrible about it, but how could I have known this was going to happen? My bad feelings were lessened by the fact that no one was inside of the building when it happened. I will have to win Megabucks now to pay for the building, though.
I felt the presence of someone standing next to me, so I turned. I gasped -- a giant bird with bright blue feathers towered over me. I tried to take a picture of him, but he was so close to me and he was so enormous that I only got this rather nondescript shot.
The numbers I played for Megabucks were --
17-20-21-22-39-40
The winning numbers were:
4-6-16-22-36-37
Two numbers were only off by one, and one number was correct.
A giant spider caught me and wound me up in a giant web. Suddenly I saw the glow of the rising sun through the tangle of silken threads, and I was so inspired by it I took a picture and then used my camera to break the cords of the web and free myself. Then I went and played Megabucks.
A giant blue fish stood as attendant at the entrance to a men's restroom. Meanwhile, rays of light shone down from above as if the marine creature was about to be sainted.
The numbers I played for Megabucks were:
7-20-23-31-34-35
The winning numbers were:
2-10-15-21-31-42
I got one right, and one number was only off by one.
