A log that gets a grade of "B" -- thereby creating the word "BLOG" -- describing my quest to win one of the Massachusetts State lottery games.

the banyan tree's fibrous trunk
The hazy afternoon sunlight filtered through the strands of the banyan tree's fibrous trunk. Of course, I am just guessing that it was a banyan tree. My knowledge in tree-ology is sadly lacking.
The numbers I played for Megabucks were --
3-19-30-31-33-37
The winning numbers were:
18-26-27-31-32-34
Three numbers were only off by one, and one number was correct.
double exposure because of slippage with alternate universe
Also when I developed my pictures, I discovered that my camera had slipped into an alternate universe the second I had snapped the shutter. In this alternate universe, there were two joggers next to the palm tree; while in this universe, the runners were not present.
The numbers I played for Megabucks were:
6-8-11-17-18-25
The winning numbers were:
17-25-29-31-39-41
I got two numbers right, and another was only off by one.
It wasn't until later when I had my pictures developed that I noticed that what I thought had been an ordinary picture of a garden trellis included a view of a visitation by a garden fairy.
On my way to Florida, I was shocked to see the effects of the drought as our plane passed over Georgia. Notice how this giant lake has shrunken, leaving dry earth all around its edges. If I could win Megabucks with these numbers (below), I would pay someone to figure out how to end global warming. But I wonder if there's enough money in the whole world to solve this crisis.
I was suddenly reminded that I was in Key West, Florida when a kiwi strolled in front of me, right next to the edge of the pool. At least I THINK it was a kiwi. Perhaps it was a tern or some other exotically named fowl.
The numbers I played for Megabucks were (two draws) --
1-11-16-27-38-41 1-5-6-13-16-34
The winning numbers were:
2-12-18-24-30-35
One draw had two numbers only off by one, and the other draw had three only off by one.
An educational video demonstrating bad camera techniques. These include holding the camera at the wrong angle and setting the exposure incorrectly. We hoped you have learned from the mistakes of this video.
The numbers I played for Megabucks were:
6-17-28-32-34-39
The winning numbers have not been drawn yet, but I will notify you as soon as they are, and I presumably win.
I studied the strange photograph while scratching my head. Whose antique television set was that? And why, in the nearly toppling tape of VHS tapes on top of an equally antique VCR, was there one labeled with the cryptic acronym, "Yu-gi-oh?" The calendar on the wall seemed to be turned to a picture of a Frank Lloyd Wright house that was built in Phoenix, Arizona in 1950. And, whoever this room belonged to, why did they have an electric keyboard that seemed to have fallen into disuse, evidenced by the fact that it had a cover over it that looked like it hadn't been disturbed in MONTHS?
The numbers I played for Megabucks were:
10-20-23-24-36-41
The winning numbers were:
4-11-27-35-36-40
One number was right, and two others were only off by one.
Here's a shot of my workplace. Yes, it is dingy and we have a vampire that makes a lot of racket up in a balcony over our workstations, but it's a job ... and SOMEBODY'S got to do it.
I haven't bought my ticket yet -- I will do that tomorrow. -------- I've bought my ticket, and the numbers I played were:
