Well, I'm late in getting this posted ...

The numbers have already been drawn and I haven't even put a post in here yet OR checked to see if I've won. So I'll do it completely backwards this time. Here are the winning numbers. It appears there are no winners. But I could have won a smaller prize! (if I got four or five numbers right). I'll check tomorrow when I have more time.

Disappointment

The winning numbers were 11-18-29-31-33-47 BONUS: 19.
My numbers were 01-07-12-30-33-37

...which means I don't get anything, because I only got one number right. What a letdown. I feel terrible. I'll just have to try again.

What Startled the Cashier

The man in line ahead of me wanted cash back, so his transaction was going to take a little longer. I already had my dollar bill out, ready to play Mass Millions, and I twiddled with the edges of it pensively.

Finally, he was finished and it was my turn. "One quick pick for Mass Millions," I said to the surly-looking woman.

Oddly, her eyebrows lifted in surprise. But she quickly completed the transaction, handing me my ticket.
